Jessica Ortsman, Psy.D. is a postdoctoral fellow at The Reeds Center, where she specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, ADHD, OCD, trauma-related concerns, and mood disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. She provides evidence-based care using CBT, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT).
Jessica earned her doctorate in School-Community Psychology from Hofstra University and completed her predoctoral internship at the Albert Ellis Institute, where she received intensive training in CBT and REBT and provided individual and group therapy. She has trained in various clinical settings—including special education schools, forensic clinics, and outpatient centers. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in cultural humility.
