Carrie Webb-Bearak, Ph.D.

Carrie Webb-Bearak, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist at The Reeds Center. She has extensive experience treating obsessive-compulsive spectrum, anxiety, and mood disorders using evidence-based approaches including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy, and exposure and response prevention.

She received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Hofstra University and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from New York University. Carrie completed her predoctoral training across a number of treatment settings including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient mental health clinics, and private practice. In her dissertation research, she explored ways to enhance treatments for women’s body image and appearance dissatisfaction.
