Parham Horn, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist at The Reeds Center. She received her doctorate in counseling psychology from New York University. She has extensive experience in treating disruptive behavior, trauma, OCD, mood, and anxiety disorders using evidence-based treatments, including behavioral strategies, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy in children, teens, and adults.
She has trained in various settings, such as inpatient, outpatient, partial, and intensive outpatient, and has worked in hospitals, community-based mental health centers, and private practices. For her dissertation, she conducted a series of studies using longitudinal data to examine the importance of the early teacher-child relationship for students who were from low socioeconomic status and minority backgrounds and exhibited disruptive behaviors.
